James is an entrepreneur and search practitioner who has extensive experience developing effective processes and structures that have positively impacted the organizations he has served. His entire career has been focused on the assessment of individuals at various organizational levels and human resources at a senior level.
Jim left a senior HR position with a Fortune 500 company to form Botrie Associates, a retainer-based search firm servicing Canadian businesses for over 22 years. Botrie Associates grew to 20 consultants and was subsequently sold to Monster.com in 2001. He then went on to serve as Executive Vice President – Management Search for a global search organization with over $1 billion in sales, leading the North American mid-level search practice and the Recruitment Process Outsourcing business, where he grew revenue significantly over a three-year period.
Jim brings over 30 years’ experience and insight in search and consulting.
James holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from York University and a Master’s Degree in Adult Education from University of Toronto. James works with ENGAGE HR™ on select client assignments requiring his unique experience and expertise, including RPO assignments for hyper-growth organizations.
