Wei is a motivated human resources professional with an aptitude for innovation and creative problem solving. He is highly knowledgeable in developing and implementing practical human resources strategies and initiatives aligned with overall business strategy. In addition to his work with ENGAGE HR™, Wei acts as a teaching assistant and seminar leader in human resources management at Ryerson University in Toronto. Wei has more than four years’ experience, most of that served in helping a high growth company more than double its Mississauga-based workforce to over 1,000 permanent employees. Wei also has union experience, and developed and championed a return-to-work program that saved his employer in excess $200K per annum in WSIB surcharges.
Wei completed degree with double majors in Human Resources and Industrial Relations, and Economics, and later obtained master of Industrial Relations and Human Resources, both from University of Toronto. Wei also holds a CHRL designation from the Human Resources Professional Association of Ontario.
