Dr Okechukwu (“Okey”) Okere is a seasoned Knowledge Services Professional with nearly 25 years of experience in management consulting, covering intercultural management, organizational culture, business analysis, strategy, finance, and investment research. He has led several culture research and consulting intervention projects, including The Culture Factor’s annual Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Assessment Research Project. Born and raised in Nigeria, Okey now lives in Ontario, Canada, with his family of four. He also holds a dual role in the Culture Factor Group – as the Vice President of the Culture Factor Canada and the Managing Partner of The Culture Factor Africa.

 

He has worked with Nigeria’s leading consulting firms, including Agusto & Co Limited, and served as the COO of Agusto Consulting Limited from 2014 to 2018. Okey led culture consulting and training projects, delivering training for C-Suite executives and senior managers in corporations, financial institutions, not-for-profit concerns and government agencies across Africa, Europe, Asia and North America.

 

Okey holds a bachelor’s degree from the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Nigeria. He also has an MBA and a doctorate in Business Administration from Business School Netherlands. His doctorate research focus was on how National and Organizational Cultures contribute to Socioeconomic development.
